Description

Alloy ВМ1 used: for the production of pressed extra virgin bars; parts of aircraft; details of high-temperature heaters; switch contacts, switch and circuit breaker telephone relays, light bulbs, and the current in the mercury switches; nozzles for injection molding and continuous casting of aluminium, brass, cast iron and steel; collector and emitter electrodes of large nuclear thermionic converters; emitters and other details of TEP; ingots-blanks with diameters of 97 and 91 mm, obtained by remelting ingots-electrodes electron-beam melting in a vacuum arc furnace, and used for the manufacture of parts for special purposes.

Note

Molybdenum wrought alloy with low plastic properties.
