Description
Alloy Plrd 98−2 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (sheets, tapes, strips, foils, wire, pipes, profiles, forgings) by hot or cold deformation used in instrument and apparatus building; thermocouples; laboratory glassware; hardware; glass vessels; jewellery for personal adornment (necklaces, narrow and wide bracelets, original hair accessories, filigree earrings, brooches, pendants, wedding rings, rings, chains).

According to GOST 13498-2010, the total content of palladium, iridium, and gold in the alloy should be ≤ 0.15%. The sum of all the standard impurities (palladium, iridium, and gold, as well as silicon, lead, antimony and zinc) should be ≤ 0.19%.
