Description

Alloy KHN28VMAB used: for the manufacture of sheet metal components for turbines and other parts in power engineering; welding wire used for welding parts and welding of steel structures in energy engineering; welding electrodes; rings welded and wrought for various purposes for the aviation industry.

Note

Heat-resistant alloy based on Nickel-iron.
The recommended maximum operating temperature for a long time + 800−1000 °C. the Temperature of intensive scaling in air +1100 °C.

According to TU 14-1-2902-80 and TU 14-1-192-72 the chemical composition is given for ХН28ВМАБ-ВД (ЭП126-ВД).

Features of heat treatment Welded assemblies of steel grade KHN28VMAB needs to be heat treated to relieve welding stresses at temperatures from 950 °C to 1000 °C. After welding, the nodes with small section welded joints (3-5 mm) heat treatment not subjected to. Aging at the temperature quenching rate of not less than 2.5 min per 1 mm of maximum wall thickness.
