Description

Babbit B83 is used: for the manufacture of ingots used to fill the bearings and other parts; bearings operating at high speeds and medium loads; turbine bearings, crosshead, and crank bearings ramovic low rpm diesel engines; bearings propeller shafts; the engine (to fill the bearings and bearings of steam turbines, turbo compressors, turbo pumps, compressors over 500 HP diesel engines, steam engines, ships of long voyage, ship and stationary steam engines with a capacity of over 500 kW.); bearing equipment of heavy engineering, operating at temperatures up to 70 °C, high speeds and high dynamic loads (during a quiet load — R up to 20000 kPa at a peripheral speed of 50 m/s; drum — up to 10000 kPa·m/s) eccentrics cone crusher primary crushing, bearing high-speed gear train. Does not apply to bearings, pour a thin layer and exposed to vibration loads.

Note

The coefficient of friction of the babbit without lubrication of 0.28, with a lubricant is 0.005. The maximum allowable speed is 60 km/h. Maximum load capacity: static — 400 kgf/cm2, dynamic — 1000 kg/cm2 sec, shock — 100 kgf/cm2 sec. The maximum temperature of normal bearing operation — +110 °C. recommended fill thickness ≥1.00 mm.
